Mom's Grilled Cheese

Mom's Grilled Cheese is clearly a grilled cheese food truck located on the corner of Howe and Robson, outside the Vancouver Art Gallery. It's one of the busiest food trucks in the downtown core, because let's face it, who doesn't like grilled cheese?!

We Ate/Drank:

Fried egg grilled into white bread with bacon, cheddar & avocado.
Served with pickles & chips.
&Mint Lemonade.
  • The Lionel Richie
  • Mint Lemonade

Our Opinion

We Liked:
  • Avocado added a creamy texture against the crunchy bread crust
  • Bacon was crisped to near perfection
  • Pickles & chips rounded off the meal
  • Mint Lemonade was refreshing on a delightfully sunny Sunday (bring your own rum for a good addition)

We Didn't Like:
  • Long wait due to high volume area and everyone's love for grilled cheese...
  • Dropped the ball on the lemonades and we had to ask for them...

Feastro The Rolling Bistro is a taco food truck located outside the Art Gallery on Howe St (behind Robson Square). The attractive royal purple truck immediately grabbed our attention.

  • Pulled Pork Taco
  • Fish Taco
  • Sweet Potato Frites

Our Opinion:

We Liked:

We Didn't Like:
  • Too much salt on Sweet Potato Frites..
  • Ratio of vegetables to pork was not up to par in Pork Taco.. (more veggies needed, less pork)
  • Ratio of fish to vegetables was not up to par in Fish Taco.. (more fish needed, less veggies)
